I've got my Glasgow and Scotland travel books. None of them really say what to pack. I've looked at the average temperatures and the current ones for this month. It's freezing. I was going to pack summer clothing. Now I'm not so sure. Anyone have any ideas. I know, an umbrella and all-weather coat is derigeur. I need ideas and a stunning new wardrobe!

When do you go? We go the week before and will apparently be stomping around in the Inner Hebrides.

I get to Glasgow on Sunday July 31. We'll be doing the city mostly with maybe a day trip out to the country.

I haven't got a clue what clothing I'm bringing. The temperatures in the paper look cold but people from England and who have just travelled from Scotland are saying it is warm. Do you have any ideas. I know everyone is saying layers.
